Holidays 2024

2024 flew by but we got a few things done! And... we're very much looking forward to 2025!

We started the year off lovingly with my parents here to celebrate Christmas 2023 and staying through New Year's for a nice long visit. It was fun having them over with Cookie as well, so our home was full of love!

Being in Texas, we were fortunate to be in the totality path for the Eclipse in April. It was one of the coolest views and a fun event. Our little city had a viewing party in downtown Rowlett with music and food trucks for the afternoon. Epic event! 😁

We had a wonderful trip to Peru this summer to see our loved ones after 5 years. This was the longest I had been away from Peru and it was way too long. We were able to visit with most of the family and even see a few friends on our brief trip.

The most exciting reason for our visit was to celebrate my sister's wedding. Lucero and Antay were married in Abancay and it was a beautiful day and they were surrounded by the best views and their loved ones! The day after the wedding, we took a gorgeous hike in the Santuario Nacional del Ampay... it was tough but we made it!
As always, the trip was too short but it was what we needed to see loved ones and get a little R&R. Until next time, Peru loved ones. We'll be back soon!

The rest of the year was filled with brunches, concerts, museums, and outings in the DFW. After 3 years in the Dallas area, we have some favorite spots but still exploring and finding some new spots we love!

The pups are still enjoying their very easy life, hahaha. They are great travelers and cuddlers! Bolt is now 7 and Star is 6, both still think they are 2. 😂

2024 was a year of adulting and we're happy to move onto 2025 and get some good travel and fun in there.
Always missing and thinking of our loved ones and wishing 2025 will bring you love, peace, and happiness.

Happy Holidays!!
Lots of love,

Xoxo ~ The Wallens
