It was a loooong drive from Denver to Minneapolis but so worth it!!! We were able to visit one of my fave places (Minehaha Falls) while there and the rest of the time we just spent catching up w everyone. Part of the trip timing was to attend Amanda's wedding in ND, she's in one of Justin's cousins. We had an adventurous time riding in the full RV to ND!! It was great to see just spend time w fam and friends!! And a HUGE tks to Jane, the greatest MIL (mother in law) ever for welcoming us into her place, again!!

This was May:

Flew back into Tpa fr Peru May 13th. Flew fr Tpa to CO May 19th. Truck arrived w our stuff May 21st, we moved into our place. Left for MN 6am on May 25th. Returned to CO June 10th. House-sat June 11th-13th. We are taking a break fr traveling for a little bit, just want to spend time at our new place for a while!! So, come visit!!

As excited as we were to arrive in Denver, it was a sad time leaving Tpa. We had been away for over 3 months and we had less than a wk to say goodbye to our fab fam and awesome friends! We miss everyone and wish U all would just move to CO! lol!! Can't say enough how much we really love it here. We are making some friends now but all our Tpa peeps are deeply missed.

It has been sooo long. There is just too much to catch up on. For now...
Denver is great!!! We love the city and being DT rocks!! Still looking for FT work but found some PT work that will pay the bills for now. Our place is set up so I can finally catch up w my online stuff. Here are a couple of pics of our new place. Peru pics still coming soon, probably next month. There are way too many to sort through. So, living DT is fun. We're a block away from 16th St Mall which has a ton of shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. AND a free mall ride that goes all of 16th St, yay!!!

Tomorrow there is a free local concert in a park at noon, can't wait. Will update later on who the group is.

Ok, I know I have been completely MIA but we're now back in the country!
A few quick things:
- We have moved from Florida to Colorado
- We are visiting MN for 2 weeks
- We were in Peru for over 3 months
- We are looking for work and adjusting to our new place and city

I will detail each individually in the next month. The Peru one will probably take a couple of entries. As soon as we have internet set up at our loft I will start these up.

Missed everyone and happy to be back to our next adventure!

We are having a fab time!!
We arrived safely in Peru and have been here a month. I thought I would be blogging more but just have not had the time. I will have to catch up about our last month in Florida when we get back. I did want to just give everyone a little update about our time here so far. Will have to post pics later.
We have been able to visit with a ton of family with no rush. That has been the nicest thing. We have also spent some time at the beach, had a wonderful time. Justin really enjoys the waves. The beach is so pretty!! We visited some archeological sites, the National museum, and some tourist sites. We have been eating a ton of yummy food... which has lead us to be more active... lol. We have been playing tennis and trying to walk/jog more. The traffic is super crazy, I am still trying to get used to it... it is just so out of control! I am sure I am forgetting a few things, but that is what I recall right now. =)
A very special time for me so far was that I was able to celebrate my Bday with my family. I have not spent a Bday in Peru since I was 9. My grandmother threw a party for me and when everyone sang Happy Bday, I almost lost it. Although I miss my friends and my fam in the US, it was wonderful to spend that time with my family here in Peru.
We leave for Abancay in 2 weeks to see my dad, step-mother, sister, and my new niece... so excited!! I can´t believe I am an aunt!
In the next 2 weeks while in Lima, we hope to visit the rest of the museums in our list (about 4), the last archeological site we have missed, the zoo, go back to the beach, and a few other activities.
