2018 was a great year for us and as we look back on it, we are very thankful for it but we are so excited to welcome 2019!
The first half of 2018 was filled with weekend brunches, brewery visits, time in the Rockies, and concerts. We visited Leadville to watch Skijoring for the first time - highly recommended. We also walked through the Ice Castles in Dillon this year for the first time, ice slide included.
The second half of 2018 was so good, it will be hard to top for us!
We surprised Justin for his Bday with family flying in to visit for the weekend. Family and friends joined together to surprise him at Red Rocks for a beerfest and concert on his actual Bday... it was amazing!! And Gavin came by to wish Justin a Happy Bday! haha
We took a trip to Cinque Terre and Prague to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in September. Photos do not do either location justice, they are both gorgeous and wonderful places to visit. We loved the boat ride we took in Cinque Terre, we were able to see each of the 5 towns from the water and snorkeled in beautiful clear water. Also, Italian food... yum!!
Prague is a city that you can just walk and walk and walk and every 10 steps there is a new angle and a breathtaking view. A city with lots of history and amazing architecture. And beer everywhere. We had some photos taken and we love our photos but even more, we really enjoyed the experience of walking around for hours with a photographer (you can easily tell which are the professional ones below).
Some other fun times from this year include a trip to the Outer Banks for a fun wedding, another wedding brought us to DC and Bryce Resort for a mini family reunion, our annual Steamboat trip, and great time visiting with family and friends in between.
Closing up this yearly update with some Bolt pics and update! He celebrated his 1st Bday in May, loves dressing up, and continues to fill our lives with joy every day. He is the best pup!! He also opened up his own IG account (for the cutest Bolt pics: https://www.instagram.com/milehighbolt/
That's a wrap for 2018 and we are ready to take on 2019!
