Looking back at 2019, we feel very happy and fortunate to have shared so many wonderful memories with family and friends... but wow, here comes 2020 and we're ready!
Some of our travel this year included a couple of road trips, family trips, and a Peru visit.
We celebrated my bday with a winter hike to Hanging Lake in Glenwood Springs. It was a little scary hiking near the top but it was so worth it and so beautiful! Highly recommended in the winter, it was not very crowded as many turned away from the tough and slippery hike - so take your snowshoes and/or shoe spikes!

Our 2nd road trip was 4th of July weekend, we did some white water rafting in Salida before watching the fireworks on the 4th. A day trip to Crested Butte was just what we needed. There was still some snow we had to hike through but wow, one of my new favorite places in CO... incredible views!
May found us in Peru! We traveled to Lima, Cusco, and Abancay. Great views and even better company! It is always too long in between trips and too short of a time that we spend there but we did spend some quality and precious time with our loved ones! While we were there, we took some professional photos with a HS friend of mine. Love the pics!

This year we finally visited Chicago. It was a fun trip that included the architectural boat tour, a game at Wrigley Field, the Frank Lloyd Wright home tour, walking downtown to all the parks and touristy sites, and cool views from the 94th floor of the John Hancock building.
A week in Tampa for Thanksgiving and our annual Steamboat trip wraps up our traveling for the year.

We hosted our first Friendsgiving at our place. It was filled with lots of laughter, good food, and 3 crazy pups! Thankful to be able to host our loved ones and looking forward to making this a yearly tradition. We also attended many concerts and Bolt had his first camping trip!
Happy Holidays!!
Lots of love,
Xoxo ~ The Wallens
