Holidays 2021

2021 eventually made it here and it seemed to have flown by after last year. We made some big changes and are very excited to see what comes next in 2022!

We started this year still figuring out how COVID is affecting our everyday lives. Early bday present for me was a Bucs Super Bowl win!! Later in the year the Lightning won the Cup for the 2nd straight year! As a superfan, it was great to see both of my teams win the ultimate titles in their sports!
We did some travel to visit friends and family for special events, many zooms still, and also many more road trips with the pups until June...

The big news this year is our move from CO to TX this past summer! We were not expecting to make this move in 2021 but the opportunity showed itself and we took it. Many (everyone we know!) have asked us why so a couple of reasons: Moved east to be a little closer to family, chose a big city with lots of opportunities and a fun place to explore, cost of living was a factor, and lots of big lakes near us (missed the water!!).

The move itself was smooth and we found our new home in just 6 weeks. We saw a lot of houses and are very fortunate to have found the perfect home for us in this crazy market. We're in the Dallas area and so far everyone has been friendly in our community and we have found some key places we like to frequent. Still excited to explore the new city and state next year with the pups.

And that brings us to the now, December. Along with the pups, we took a nice road trip to FL and are still enjoying our time here. First on the list was watching my brother, David, get married! It was a beautiful wedding. We spent Christmas with family, something we haven't done in many years. It was such a nice time and we felt all the love! Lastly, we got to celebrate our 20 year anniversary, from our first meet... A blind date in 2001 to a company Christmas party that started it all. It was nice to be back in Tampa to celebrate and reminisce.

Closing this out with some pup pics!

2021 was a year that went quick but it was memorable and now we look on to see what 2022 brings. Always missing and thinking of our loved ones and wishing 2022 will bring you love, peace, and happiness.

Happy Holidays!!

Lots of love,

Xoxo ~ The Wallens
