Holidays 2015

As 2016 is just around the corner, this is the time we take to reflect and be thankful for 2015.

This year we had a lot less travel than usual. With us both adjusting to new jobs, we kept ourselves busy closer to home. Justin once again really enjoyed snowboarding all winter and had a nice guys' trip in Vail this year. We were able to get in many hikes and even some camping, loving the Colorado outdoors. We were able to take trips back to Minnesota and Florida to see friends and family as well. This year was my sorority chapter's 30 year anniversary and many of us were able to reunite and catch while watching the Bulls take a win.

We did take a roadtrip to Moab and visited Arches National Park, loved it!! Arches is now my favorite National Park, it was really pretty. We did many hikes in a couple of days even though the weather was a little over 100 degrees!

We were fortunate to have some great friends get married in Costa Rica, great trip! We really enjoyed going back to where we honeymooned 7 years ago. It was nice to enjoy the beach and sun with our friends. We also took a week to go to the Dominican Republic. A few too many mosquitos chasing me down but hard to complain in such a beautiful country while relaxing pool and beachside.

My parents came down for Thanksgiving and unlike years past, we had a lot of early snow so for the first time, we took them to Keystone and they loved the Gondola trip! My inlaws came for our annual Steamboat trip and we really enjoyed the visit and the extra powder we had. I "snowboarded" on that trip but I will be skiing this year, hope that works out better for me.

2015 really flew by this year and I am looking forward to a slower 2016.
Thank you to all those who are part of our lives and we miss you all! Wishing 2016 brings you love, peace, and happiness. Best wishes and happy holidays to all!

Lots of love,
Xoxo ~ The Wallens
